Imran Abdul Majeed is 36 and a resident of a small town in interior Sindh called Tandoo Allah Yar. He runs a small business of repairing televisions and computers, and currently his earnings stand at an average of 15,000 rupees monthly. He has been running this business for over 10 years, and has developed quite a skill for it. However, his earnings hardly reach up to the mark due to his lack of resources.
Imran is the sole provider for a family of four. He is married and has three children; the eldest two of his kids go to school. His TV repairing business being the only source of livelihood for his family, Imran is now quite determined to expand it. He needs to buy some computer and TV spare parts and some repairing tools. This will enable him to improve his work efficiency and, hopefully, his income as well. As he is short on working capital, he has applied for a loan. He usually buys all the spare parts and equipment from Hyderabad. Imran hope to provide a better lifestyle and quality education to his children.
