Munir Ahmad is a fruit vendor and puts up a small fruit stall in his hometown, that is, Tandoo Allah Yar, Sindh. He is a dedicated and hardworking person who works tirelessly to provide a livelihood for his family. He is married and lives in a household of six members that includes his wife and their five children. Four of his children go to school, while his eldest son works in a medical store, and earns 8,000 rupees monthly. Munir himself manages to scrape a monthly profit of 15,000 rupees, on average.
He now requires a loan from Akhuwat to buy more fruits for his stall. Munir intends to buy additional quantities and varieties of seasonal fruits to improve his revenues and profits. He usually buys the fruits from the local farmers’ market. He looks forward to see his household income improve, that will eventually allow him to improve his family’s living conditions.
