Mohammed Naveed is a resident of Karachi and owns a small business. He basically sells kitchen utensils that mainly include cutlery, pots and pans in varying sizes. He initially had no definite source of income and always remained between jobs. With a family to provide for, he decided to start his own business. But the trouble was that he did not have enough capital.
Amongst his dilemma, Naveed got to know about Akhuwat and their interest free loans for small business. He approached their nearest branch in Karachi and received all information about acquiring a loan. Once he had all the information, he applied for a loan. once his application was processed he was disbursed a loan of 15,000 rupees. He added the capital he already had to the loan and started his kitchen utensils business. His family conditions improved gradually and his family’s living conditions improved to a great extent. Naveed now wants another loan of 30,000 rupees in order to improve his profits. He intends to purchase cutlery, pot and pans in large quantities from the wholesale market, and sell them at a profit. He wishes to provide an enriched lifestyle to his family.
