Nosheen is a resident of Karachi. She is married to Islam Deen, who works at an average job with a bare minimum pay. It was extremely hard for her to manage the domestic expenditures of her home with his income. She wanted to share her husband's burden to earn; she wanted to start a business of her own but had no resources. She was skilled at making artificial jewellery like stone and pearl bangles, bracelets, rings and earrings. When she heard about Akhuwat she requested for a loan.
Upon receiving 15,000 rupees as her first loan she purchased materials and supplies used in making artificial jewellery. Nosheen started her business from home and made beautiful artificial bangles, rings and earrings. Her husband would go and sell the jewelry in the market. She eventually started receiving orders from retailers and jewellery shops. Her work load has now increased, and so have her profits. But she does not have enough materials or resources to fulfil large orders. She needs a second loan to purchase more materials and increase her production. Nosheen is eager to earn better profits from her work and improve her living standards.
