Zarina belongs from an underprivileged background. She works as a seamstress from her home and stitches various styled outfits for women in her locale. Her son works as a clothes dyer to earn an income for their family. His earnings are hardly sufficient to provide adequately for the domestic household expenditures. To help out and contribute to her family’s income, Zarina has now started working as a seamstress. But her sewing machine is old and worn out. This makes it extremely difficult for her to work or to make more outfits at a time.
Some time ago, she learned about Akhuwat from a neighbor. Therefore, she has now requested for a loan of 20,000 rupees to help her purchase two new sewing machines to help increase her productivity and take on as many customers as possible. She also intends to hire some young girls to train and open a proper tailoring center. Zarina is confident that she can significantly increase her income and provide a better living for her family.
